This painting is part of a suite of 6 or 7 works created as I was thinking about things that burn. A firey flame is not the only kind of burning. In this instance, I was thinking of the fierce urgency with which growth returns to plants in the Springtime. It is also a form of burning, and in this instance, it produces growth, not destruction. This artwork is sold unframed.
