When NYCentral art supply was still in business, I found the beautiful, handmade French marbleized paper. I made several paintings using it. With the last sheet, I decided I wished to play with the intricate, irregular pattern of the marbleizing. I decided to use copper gilding to emphasize the patterning, and added subtle washes of blue paint. The work is matted with archival materials, and ready to be framed.
