This artwork skillfully combines artistic expression with commentary on climate issues and Brenda Mallory's historic achievement as the first African American to chair the Council on Environmental Quality. I am using non-recyclable trash as the primary medium to draw attention to issues of waste and consumption, prompting viewers to reflect on the broader environmental impact of human activities. Overall, this assemblage merges art, ecological consciousness, and social commentary, inviting viewers to engage with the narrative on multiple levels.
