In Destroyed & Modified, I explore fragility and resilience through mixed-media canvases that reflect a world scarred but still searching for solace and belonging. Between damage and repair, layered textures and tender yet fractured forms carry emotional weight. This series dialogues with themes of sorrow, memory and finding one’s place, offering a visual meditation on pain and the possibility of renewal — echoing the sentiment, “the former things have passed away” (Revelation 21:4).
