I created this piece based on a prompt from Danielle Krysa the artist behind the wildly popular site, Jealous Creator . Like my similar paper works, this piece is a hand-cut paper collage made from recycled paper that I paint, cut and fold. I wanted to expand on my paper series by taking a modern approach to my floral muse. I like to get up close and let it fill my periphery, I enjoy the complexity of the shadows deep within it.
