I wanted to come upon the way forward with clarity as one might spy a beautiful opening through a dense and protective forest and move toward it. Emerging out of shaded and tangled branches into the warmth of sunlight; a deep breath of fresh air invigorating and calming the nerves and mind. This little 8x10 inch oil on panel has been an everyday meditation and is thick with the layers of time. Each paint stroke a step toward the next moment.
