Spring energy is different from other seasonal essence. After a long period quietness, the plant world wakes up with color, form, and unstoppable change. Each year this season sweeps me into its parade of delight. The two colors featured here seem to be the essence of Spring energy. I love these two - they complement each other and bring out the best in one another. Created on a silver ground, this painting is mounted on .25" thick birch plywood. The edges are painted red; the work installs with a cleat which is included. The pigments are oil paint and mica.
