When we look up into the sky, it is above our heads. Our eyes don't measure distance. The above is simply there. What if we could rise up into this aboveness, unfettered to a machine? What would this rising feel like? What would it precipitate in our bodies, minds, hearts? This small suite of paintings meditates on these ideas.
