All of my ceramics are a collaborative project with my mother, Angela, who is a ceramicist. She creates all the vessels and I hand glaze them. Then they are fired in our own kiln to the exact temperature necessary. When it comes to my mark making technique, I like to say it's my "brush stroke" (Some people splatter paint, others cross-hatch and this is mine). The objective of these one-of-a-kind works is to spark joy in the viewer. It's very special to work together on a project with my mother and makes me happy, so I hope the ceramics make you happy as well.
