At the end of one fall day several years ago, as I headed home I glimpsed this unusually gorgeous lighting on what otherwise is a drab and anonymous empty lot. The tall grassy weeds were golden in the low light and the old buildings looked almost glamorous! Recently, the lot has been paved over and fenced - no longer charming at all.
