Pen and Ink

This SpaceShip series consists of letters that are written and never delivered, the script are just as important to the aesthetic as the lines are to the actual message. In experimenting with the intent of letter writing these pieces use words as a mark making tool. The pieces explore juvenile lust, the robust and comical illustrations of a spaceship are used to surrogate the fantastical and unrealistic expectations of childhood, while simultaneously aiming to create a vehicle that exists in the depth of the vacuum.
