Acrylic gouache with laser cut relief on board

"Like a Dream" features a colorful interplay of biomorphic shapes with geometric abstraction. This work started as a small study and I liked it so much that I recreated it into a large painting with raised relief elements. To add to optical illusion, I experimented with light and dark value elements. After I finished it, it felt like waking from a good dream. "Like a Dream" is on board and has raised relief elements that are approximately 1/8" high. I will donate a portion of the proceeds from sale of this painting to the Animal Justice League, Houston chapter.
