The intermittent creek at Catalina State Park in Southern Arizona was running after recent storms. I loved the way the water maneuvered around the boulders. The contrast of the multiply reflected colors and the sparkling water with the rough granite boulders was a challenge to capture. I also love to paint the play on light and shadow.
