During the Covid Pandemic, I had to leave my aparment in a hurry due to my immune deficient system, and lived in seclusion in a room in Manhattan during forty days. My family in France made me buy a large amount of canned food, thinking of avoiding a food shortage. Before the pandemic, I have been painting people during a year and was suddenly alone in a place I did not know. These cans were my only belongings in this new place, and I painted setups of them every day, which I treated like figures and characters to process the daily information.
