Each of us has special memories of places or things that are meaningful to us. This series of works is inspired by those little “Pieces of Me”. I tend to see lots of these memories in colors. The same way a sound or smell might trigger a memory in others… for me it is often colors that I connect with my memories. The “conversations of color” in these works represent these memories, or “Pieces of me”. The Golden Hour Series is inspired by the magical light that comes at sunrise and sunset. I have always loved the light in the early morning just before sunrise or the golden hour at sunset.
