Antonio Cordova

I always wanted to be an artist as a kid. I was very fortunate to find excellent mentors and teachers who instilled in me not just technical skills but the importance of loving and being passionate about the art you create. Even though it has taken me years to develop a style and I am still working on my craft, I have come to love to paint the subject in front of me in the moment. I particularly love painting still life. Still life incorporates color harmony, playfulness of composition, texture and, of course, story telling. I am fortunate that my career has allowed me to focus on my passion. I paint for myself. I paint what inspires me and what catches my eye, and I am hopeful that what I create is appealing to others too.
